Hitachi Information Control Systems' annual Christmas raffle resulted in £800 being raised which the company generously made up to £1,000 again. The money was split equally between the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and our community project, Bradford Town FC. The support of local businesses and the community is valued and appreciated by all at HICSE to achieve such a great fundraising amount.
Bradford Town FC is struggling to finance its ongoing maintenance works and the money is being put towards works being done on their clubhouse including a new roof. The facilities are shared with the junior and youth football teams and the bowls club which offers sports facilities and a community venue for the town and surrounding areas. HICSE also sponsors the shirts and matches, and we officially sponsored the end of season home game on Saturday 15 April where we handed over the fundraising money.
Our continued support for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance brings our total fund-raising for the charity to an amazing £5613.75 as of March 2023. The Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a lifesaving organisation that carries out an average of three potentially life-saving missions per day around Wiltshire, Bath, and beyond.
