Local businesses in Bradford-on-Avon showcased their sporting prowess in the first-ever Summer InterCompany Challenge held in July.
The event, hosted at the Spencer Moulton Bowls Club, saw teams from Hitachi, Ashford Homes, and Team Eleven competing in a series of friendly yet competitive games. Participants enjoyed an afternoon of lawn bowling, followed by darts and pool competitions. After an exciting day of sportsmanship and camaraderie, Ashford Homes emerged victorious, claiming the coveted trophy.
Denise Watkins, Head of Sales at Hitachi, shared her enthusiasm for the event: "It was great fun to participate in this event. We enjoyed lots of sport before retiring to the bar and finishing off the afternoon with a delicious buffet. We're hopeful it will kick off a series of gatherings enabling local businesses to connect, enjoy a fun day, and foster community ties."
