Tim Gray

Tim leads the Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe (HICSE) business, which is part of the Hitachi, Ltd., group of companies. As MD, Tim’s role encompasses a range of responsibilities including business management, communications, strategic planning and leading interaction with Group companies and key clients. Tim brings senior level experience from more than 30 years’ of working in the rail industry in various roles involving railway engineering, sales and commercial management and general business leadership. He is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and has a MSc in Railway Systems Engineering.

Patrick Devlin

Patrick leads the day to day operations and project delivery across the HICSE business sites. He has 20 years’ experience in full lifecycle systems engineering, technical leadership and programme management. Patrick joined HICSE from Lockheed Martin UK Ampthill, where he held roles as Chief Engineer on a £120M Command & Control System programme and as Head of Systems Engineering, responsible for engineering and functional management of multi-disciplinary engineering teams working on MOD projects.

Patrick brings a valuable systems and software engineering skillset from another safety critical industry along with diverse management experience gained in previous roles with DERA, Ultra Electronics and Raytheon.

Graham Goswell

Graham has a strong background in control room and operations management and he joined us from Network Rail where he was the Professional Head of Operations. Graham also represented NR on a number of EU rail industry forums. He has worked in the front-line operations function for the last 18 years having started as a signaller in 1998, and then progressing through management and specialist roles in the Network Rail HQ team.

Graham also brings considerable experience from the European rail industry, particularly around ERTMS and other technology deployments across railway operations and the application of the European TSI standards.
